Over a year ago, Aussie chef and Around the World in 80 Plates host Curtis Stone established residence in L.A. in a 3.1 million-dollar Hollywood home, not long after teasing that he planned to endow Los Angeles with a restaurant project. In a recent interview with The Village Voice, Stone relays the news that he’s still hoping to open up a local place once he gets off the road and deals with his next cookbook, claiming he’s currently wrapping up the scouting phase. Stone reveals, “We’re hoping to open up a restaurant in L.A. as well–we haven’t signed a lease anywhere but we’re getting really close.” [VV]
