Patricia Yeo’s Moksa is open at last, and we sashayed over to Central Square to check it out last evening. The vibe is distinctly Miami nightclub (lots of black walls, no windows, and a cavernous tryst-y nightclub in the back…oh, and blindingly bright-white bathrooms). The food is accessible and easy to share. We didn’t pick up on any of the out-there flavor combos for which Chef Yeo is renowned, but we did leave quite satiated after stuffing ourselves with rice paper rolls, tuna poke, roti, and a pungent cocktail called the Snap Dragon. Yeo seemed happy and relaxed (though, sadly, she wouldn’t allow a photo); she also tells us that she’ll hold a tots’ cooking class in the space just before Mothers’ Day. Kids in a nightclub?! Why not?
