Next Wednesday, Comme Ca is welcoming bartenders Joel Black, Julian Cox, and Milk & Honey/Attaboy’s Sam Ross from New York to concoct a few drinks of their own that riff on the French trend of bistronomy, which are also reflected in a new spring menu of dishes being served at the restaurant. From 6:30 to 9:30 P.M. on April 18th, the public is invited to come sip twelve-dollar drinks made mostly by Ross, while David Myers’ Frenchie debuts dishes like coq au vin with spring savoy cabbage sauerkraut, artichoke agnolotti with clams, heirloom tomatoes, and purple basil, and pan seared Ling cod with coconut emulsion. We still don’t know if the prices behind each dish really put the “-onomy” into bistronomy, nor what Cox is up-to this night, but we do have the menu of cocktails below, just to wet your whistle.

Comme Ca Cocktail Menu

Midnight Lush with oro pisco torontel, fresh lemon juice, fresh pressed red grape juice, blackberry, lavender and agave nectar (Joel Black)

Mercy Mercy with gin, aperol and cocchi Americano, grapefruit twist (Sam Ross)

Jungle Bird with cruzan black strap rum, pineapple, lime and campari (Sam Ross)

Bee Keeper with bourbon, honey, bitters and absinthe, lemon twist (Sam Ross)
