Food Trucks

Entrepreneurship Center To Host Food Truck Meetup April 14

Still thinking of getting into the food truck game? Have we got an event for you. This Saturday the IJ Clinic on Entrepreneurship, a nonprofit organization where University of Chicago law students provide legal services and other guidance to low-income entrepreneurs, will be hosting a food truck meetup and symposium, “My Streets, My Eats.” Entrepreneurs, scholars, advocates, government officials, chefs and foodies will network and discuss how Chicago can foster entrepreneurship and create economic opportunity by allowing mobile vending to thrive. Oh, and you’ll have a chance to try food from various food trucks too. Admission is free but you are encouraged to register— and the first 250 registrees will get a $5 voucher for the food trucks. It runs from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, Saturday, April 14; go here for more information and to register.
