Daniel Patterson’s Coi Cookbook Will Not Have Ghostwriter

On Friday, chef Daniel Patterson announced a cookbook deal with Phaidon Press for a Coi cookbook, noting that this would be the fancy publisher’s first book with an American chef. Phaidon previously published the Noma cookbook, as well as Ferran Adria’s Family Meal, and they’ve got an upcoming book from renowned Spanish chef Andoni Aduriz of Mugaritz. Patterson joked that, unlike some people, he won’t be using a ghostwriter. Look for the book next year. [DCPatterson/Twitter]
