We had many good things to eat at this weekend’s Dose Market, like the 50-lb. mortadella brought to town by Indianapolis’ Smoking Goose, but one of our favorite things about these events is when they serve as a coming-out party for a soon-to-be restaurant. This time it was the turn of Alexander Brunacci’s The Peasantry. Brunacci, owner of Frank N Dawgs, served a lamb burger with olives as an example of the upscale, comforty (non-sausage) items he plans to serve at his upcoming spot on Clark just south of Diversey. He says work on the space is moving quickly, and he expects to open in early May.
