The Smith, which is going into the old Josephina space, which was the old Sushi A-Go-Go space, which will sadly not be open in time for pre-gaming the James Beard Awards at Lincoln Center (bonjour Bar Boulud), is getting a little further along in its development. The restaurant, originally reported to open this summer, now has signs up saying it will launch this fall. Meanwhile, there’s the midtown.
