Beer Me

Sam Adams Rolls Out 26.2

Samuel Adams Boston 26.2 Brew has launched in honor of the Boston Marathon on April 16. We’re told that it has a slightly lower alcohol content level (4.5 percent) and a lighter body than Sam’s other brews. It’s a gose, a light German beer brewed with wheat, plus coriander and salt. Boston Beer Company Founder Jim Koch unveiled the concoction last night at the Boston Athletic Association’s downtown headquarters. We couldn’t make it over for a sample, but we (and you!) can check it out at the following marathon-convenient spots as soon as this weekend.
