The restaurant openings just keep coming. Tomorrow, Peter McAndrews, chef-owner of Modo Mio, both Paesano’s locations, and Monsu, pops the cork for Popolino, his Roman-style BYOB that will pick up where Lafayette Bistro left off at Fifth and Fairmount. Insider reports that McAndrews brought in Four Seasons vet Steve Flis, and that Popolino will serve brunch and dinner Wednesdays through Mondays. Staff will serve up helpings from the dining room’s antipasti bar and hot table, and the kitchen will turn out rustic Roman fare. [Insider]
