NYPD Sued for Overblown ‘Sting Operations’ at Bars Serving to Minors

Save the theatrics.

Some restaurant and bar owners have united to fight the NYPD Vice Squad for barging into popular bars during prime business hours and creating "a spectacle as though they are conducting a major drug bust," in order to heroically catch underage drinkers. The group also says that the punishment — often thousands of dollars in fees, or immediate shutdown — doesn't fit the crime. [Epoch Times]
