The much-anticipated NoMad bowed last night and we popped in for some photos. It’s the first solo project from Daniel Humm and Will Guidara, known for their flawless food and service at Eleven Madison Park, so the bar is high. Luckily so are the restaurant’s soaring ceilings, which show off its opulent, almost kingly, red-and-black interior. The menus mimic the deceptive simplicity of EMP’s offerings, with dishes like Trout (smoked with cucumber, buttermilk, and rye) and Suckling Pig (confit with dried apricots, onions, wild greens). See all of those — including the bottle-service lineup — straight ahead.
