Mixologist Matty Eggleston Moves To Tenzing Wine & Spirits

“It’s sort of a restless resume at this point,” mixologist Matty Eggleston told Time Out Chicago in early 2011. The widely-admired bartender got his cocktail start in California (though he’s a Lisle native) and had worked at Bar DeVille, Graham Elliott and The Exchange, as well as helped Bangers & Lace start their cocktail program with fellow Bar DeVille vet Eric Hay. The resume has only gotten more restless since then; Eggleston has worked at Perennial Virant for the past several months, but now 312DiningDiva reports that he’s joining Tenzing Wine & Spirits. Known for his envelope-pushing cocktail development, Eggleston will likely be involved in creating new uses for the spirits in Tenzing’s portfolio.
