The doors are open.

The Mission now has a hip little seafood bistro, café, and raw bar from chef Jake DesVoignes and owner Yaron Milgrom, the same guys who opened Local Mission Eatery on 24th Street back in 2010. We showed you the menus earlier this week, and now having passed their final inspections, Local’s Corner (23rd and Bryant) debuts today for breakfast and lunch and we’ve got some photos for you.

It should be noted that the daytime menu, available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., features not just traditional breakfast-y stuff like baked eggs and quiche, but also oysters (!) and smoked sturgeon with pickled shallots and horseradish.

Dinner service starts April 17 and will feature a seafood-focused menu that includes local caviar, abalone, fried smelt, and what we’re guessing is going to be a mean fish soup.
