Astoria has, until now, been left out of the city’s apparently never-ending fascination with ramen spots. But no longer: The team behind Spot Dessert Bar and the Ember Room opened HinoMaru Ramen last night. (We first got word about the spot back in January.) The 60-seat, dine-in-only spot, helmed by chef Koji Miyamoto, is doling out eight regional varieties of ramen, plus gyoza, pork buns, donburi, and veggie plates. Perhaps the most crucial detail: The place doesn’t have its liquor license yet, but they’ll let you B.Y.O.B. — beer or wine only, please — for the time being. Dinner runs from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and the team will launch a lunch service next week. Take a look at the menu, straight ahead.
