Westwood’s W Hotel Has a New Lamb Burger…For Your Dog

On Monday we reported the news that L.A.’s outdoor restaurant spaces had legally become Fido-friendly. So it’s not much of a shocker that a city that already has doggie food trucks and pet psychologists would quickly spin off some chef-driven dishes for your little butt-sniffer. Dakota Weiss at the pet-friendly W Hotel Westwood has a new menu geared entirely towards discriminating dogs, to be perused at the hotel’s al fresco Backyard restaurant. It sounds a helluva lot better than kibble, with dishes that we’d even chow down on, whether intended for two legged creatures or four. Want a peek?

The selection features pet food named for employee animals and features honey-sweetened cakes of dried apple and quinoa (for vegan dogs, we’re guessing), Stella’s Mutt”za” balls of organic chicken and free range eggs (for Dead Head dogs?) and even a lamb burger (for those dogs who like to bro’ out over beers).

Check out the full menu of pet dishes below, so your pooch knows whether it wants the seafood goulash or chopped salad ahead of time.
