Broome Street between Orchard and Ludlow might be our favorite block of the Lower East Side, and now there’s another reason to head below Delancey: A branch of Parisian chocolatier Christian Vautier Le Concept opens tomorrow. Co-owner and chef Aditi Malhotra will helm the operations Stateside, offering exotic treats like Sichuan peppercorn ganache and Earl Grey tea truffles. Production happens in the basement, and the upstairs storefront has seats for twenty, with pastries, coffee, and all manner of chocolates served from 9 a.m. till 10 p.m. during the week and 1 a.m. on weekends.
