Congratulations to Dan Halpern’s Ecco and writer/newsy ghostwriter Andrew Friedman for sealing the deal on a new book, Chefs, Drugs, and Rock & Roll. Per Friedman, the book is focused on the seventies and eighties and will be told “in the voices of the chefs, restaurateurs, critics, and other principal characters … ” of that era.
