Grub Street loves to eat out 364 days of the year, the sole exception being the night everyone seems to crave a hot reservation: Valentine’s Day. This year we’re taking a cue from Nymag.com’s annual Valentine’s Day Guide and cooking at home. Check out the story about recipes from chef couples — that is, what they would make if they weren’t stuck in the kitchen. There’s romantic uni pasta from Toqueville’s owners, an Italian feast from Gabe and Gina Stulman of Joseph Leonard, and chocolate-croissant bread pudding from the Seersucker folks. If you’re not convinced and still insist on dining out, you’ll also find a guide to prix fixe dinners for two.
