Roberto Santibañez, who probably still craves his grandma’s croquettas, is opening another Fonda — this time in the East Village — on February 21. The space is reportedly much bigger than the Park Slope location, with a menu featuring regional dishes like Yucatecan shrimp and braised pork in adobo sauce. Meanwhile, Roberto Aita of Fiore in Williamsburg, is leaving to open his own tiny joint in Clinton Hill, tentatively called Aita. [Diners Journal, Insatiable Critic]
