Abigaile, the restaurant replacing Union Cattle Co. in Hermosa Beach, is opening this Monday, February 6th, with an in-house brewery, pew seating, and San Francisco’s former Wood Tavern chef Max DiMare in the kitchen. Taking over a former rehearsal room for Black Flag known as The Church, the restaurant drops us a note that it’s already reconnecting with the space’s punk rock roots as Pennywise guitar player and owner of nearby 3rd Street Tattoo, Fletcher [Dragge] stopped by the restaurant with friends and an arsenal of aerosol to decorate the walls with stencils of punk band logos and reproduced flyers of local greats like The Descendents, The Minutemen, Wasted Youth, and The Germs, as well as all-around heroes like The Misfits and The Exploited.
