Iron Chef Marc Forgione and his sommelier Matt Conway are launching a collection of new, private-label wines that will be poured at his restaurant, Restaurant Marc Forgione, and at his new American Cut in Atlantic City, in addition to being sold at Chambers Street Wines via his website. The list includes the 2010 Felines-Jourdan, Picpoul de Pinet from Languedoc, France and the 2009 Alain Gueneau, Sancerre Rouge from Loire Valley, France. Forgione says these are the wines he’s been pouring by the glass since day one at his restaurant, and the wines that he personally likes to sip after a shift. Plus, the packaging really gels.
