Two new fronts have opened up in the heavily anticipated regional release of Russian River Brewing Company’s coveted triple IPA, Pliny the Younger. This Monday, both locations of Haven Gastropub will serve a stash of the beer, solo for eight dollars a pint, and also as part of a four-beer Russian River flight (with Blind Pig, R.R. IPA, and Pliny the Elder) for seventeen bucks, while the super-limited supply lasts. The early morning drinking action starts at Haven’s location in Orange at 11:00 A.M., with plans to serve over 100 customers. Once that location is drained dry, Haven in Pasadena will start doling out its supply of the stuff at 5:00 P.M., also served on a first-come, first-served basis, with tickets handed out in case a line forms.
