Gustavo Dudamel, the L.A. Philharmonic’s Venezuelan maestro of musical director, is a genuine force. But where can the guy go to get his fill of early morning of his favorite breakfast dish, the Perico Platter of an arepa with scrambled eggs and sweet peppers? Naturally, Coupa Cafe is the spot for a balanced Venezuelan breakfast, popular for its buttery, cheese-stuffed tequenos. Although the owner says Dudamel is a huge fan of eating at the Caracas flagship, DOC, HuffPo’s Jay Weston says he is still yet to make it to the Beverly Hills location. [HuffPo]
