By the time it actually opens, Smith Street could be Columbia Street, but that doesn’t mean Brooklynites are any less excited about Joe Isidori’s Arthur on Smith, which opens on March 19. “It’s Saint Joseph’s Day,” explains Isidori to Grub Street, adding that he’s so dedicated to sustainable goods that he is using old, recycled pallets for the restaurant’s wood cladding. He’s obviously also sourcing from strictly organic farms in the Hudson Valley and on Long Island, as well as a local farm in Red Hook called Added Value. Eight Long Island wines will be on tap, available along with an Italian list. Southfork Kitchen fans can just get on the F train now.
