Fox News Gets Pop-Ups All Wrong

They’ve reported, and we’ve decided: Clearly Fox News has no clue how pop-up restaurants work. In an attempt to build a mountain of controversy out of the molehill that was Roundeye Noodle Bar, the modern day muckraker filed a story riddled with factual inaccuracies. First it suggests that Ben Puchowitz’s and Shawn Darragh’s pop-up was somehow a regular stand-alone restaurant that allegedly serves “$10 pork belly ramen and $9 mushroom miso soup” on a regular basis, and that Sunday’s second pop-up at Matyson was the noodle bar’s “promotional event.” It goes on to say that Puchowitz mans the stove “at nearby Matyson.” In reality Puchowitz and Darragh hosted the pop-up at Matyson. Where do they find these people to write this stuff? [FoxNews]
