Celebrities fresh from their Hummers, drinking Hum. It could happen at this year’s Oscars. Adam Seger, who fixed a drink or two for celebrities at Oprah Winfrey’s wrap party, has submitted a Hum and champagne-based cocktail to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences for their Governor’s Ball, originally created for the iPic theater chain out west, which Seger consults for. But this Oscar contest has some People’s Choice Awards to it too— part of the question of whether or not it will be chosen rests on “social media buzz” and fan votes here, at this contest sponsored by Moët & Chandon (which is spec’d in the recipe).
