As a sort of kickoff to the Good Food Festival & Conference next month, FamilyFarmed.org will premiere the newest Sky Full of Bacon movie, “The Butcher’s Karma,” at a farm-to-table dinner at Uncommon Ground on February 23. In it, Rob Levitt (of B&L;), Paul Kahan (of PQM) and Bartlett Durand, of Wisconsin’s Black Earth Meats (which supplies PQM), take us behind the scenes of their operations to talk about why well-raised meat matters and how each one is trying to change their corner of the meat system. The dinner, which starts at 6:30 p.m., features a three-course dinner (of good meat, of course) plus wine from Candid Wines, for $50, and will be followed by the movie and a Q&A; with Levitt and Durand.
