Patterson, and Oakland, Get Some Random Love From the Boston Globe

Boston native Daniel Patterson got a little write-up in the Boston Globe on Sunday, vis-a-vis a small travel piece about Oakland’s burgeoning dining scene. (This comes just a month after the NYT named Oakland the number-five place to visit this year, after London and Tokyo!) No other restaurants are mentioned besides Patterson’s Plum (they seem to think Haven hasn’t opened yet) and Blackberry Bistro, a breakfast place in the Glenview neighborhood, but the basic message is Oakland gets a bad rep, but everyone should go there to eat now. At Plum, at least. [Boston Globe]
