The Chicago Food Film Festival, the nearly sold-out four-show extravaganza of onscreen videos and in-the-audience tastings, which we chronicled last time here and here, has announced its dates for this year— November 15 through 17. Why are we telling you this now? Because as one of the only Chicago contributors of food videos last year (and the only one the first year), we want to encourage more people to find an interesting food subject and make a movie out of it, then submit it to the festival. (Especially if there’s a way to bring the subject into the theater for people to taste.) You’ve got 9 months to make your baby, get going; the call for entries opens February 29.
