Chicago Auto Show To Show Off Concept… Food Truck

This says something deep about who we are right now, that we’re going to have contemplate in full later. But the Chicago Auto Show, which in past years has shown us concept cars that could fly or drive on the moon or whatever, this year will unveil its first… concept food truck. A Nissan NV2500 High Roof has been tricked out as a Southern Mac & Cheese Food Truck and will be serving from the truck during the show. While it’s unlikely that the food truck market is large enough to really justify a lot of marketing to, it’s a very catchy way to draw attention to what would otherwise just be another big white van at the show. 312DiningDiva also reports that there will be a food truck meet-up Thursday, February 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in McCormick Place Lot B; the only participant named so far is the slider truck Slide.[NissanNVChicago Blog via 312 Dining Diva]
