Brunch is officially now served at David LeFevre’s M.B. Post every Saturday and Sunday, marking a new frontier for one of 2011’s most thrilling new restaurants. The meal is an indulgent, though low-priced affair swimming in classic cocktails, breakfast desserts, and new takes on morning tradition, all full of obsessive ingredients and frequent appearances by quince on a menu stamped with multiple inside jokes and at least one Tebow reference. Drinks include a red eye using pale ale, bacon, and quail egg, while sticky buns, chorizo chimichangas, and Neuke’s bacon prepared with brown sugar add some heft to your morning meal, just as blueberry griddle lemon cake with vanilla maple syrup sweeten a different favorite. Most alluring is the promise of a truffle honey-laced fried chicken that may push us to skip the eggs and go straight for the mother-clucker. In addition to farmer’s market mojitos and yuzu margaritas, the restaurant serves tea by Intelligentsia and coffee by Illy. Take a look at LeFevre’s full new brunch menu below and catch brunch from 10:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. on weekends.
