Now Trisha Yearwood Is Getting a Food Network Show

While Biker Chef still hasn’t gotten a TV deal, Food Network is reportedly giving a show to the person who sang… um, hold on. Actually, it looks like Grub Street’s never heard of any of her songs. But Trisha Yearwood is nevertheless going to get a still-untitled cooking show, according to the Hollywood Reporter. (It looks like the show’s existence was actually first reported way back in April.) In a statement, Food Network’s Bob Tuschman says the show will be an “entertaining look at [Yearwood’s] personal recipes, family traditions and warm Southern hospitality.” In other words, it will be Paula Deen’s show without all the recipes that call for Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
