Popular West Philly brunch spot and BYOB Rx appears to be closed, but no one knows for sure. All signs seem to point to an abrupt end for the 32-seat spot. Foobooz reports that its been sealed up with no signs of life for more than a week, and a note on the door says that it’s closed for the night. Under the Button seized the opportunity today to lament its demise and a recent spate of other closures in the neighborhood in recent weeks, but doesn’t confirm whether or not the place is indeed actually done. The owners could conceivably be away, hospitalized or detained. But until (or even if) official word comes that it’s down for the count, there’s no telling what’s really going on.
