As if yesterday’s news of Top Chef champs Kevin Sbraga and Ilan Hall kicking it at Amis’ monthly Industry Night party wasn’t enough to satisfy your reality TV hunger, there’s loads more of Top Chef-iness going on for second helpings. Seems All Stars winner Richard Blais rolled up to these parts this morning but his ubiquitous liquid nitrogen probably stayed behind. That’s because he’s here to go “ladle to ladle” in a challenge against Campbell Soup Co.‘s Master Chef Thomas Griffiths in the company’s test kitchen in Camden as part of a benefit for the American Heart Association.
Meanwhile Jen Zavala, better known as “the other Jen” from Season 6 is getting her food truck, the Cherry Bomb Bus, ready to roll, Foobooz reports. In the run-up to its launch, Zavala and pastry chef Christina Clark have planned a four course Misery Dinner Party at Teri’s Diner Bar on Valentine’s Day.
Not to be left out, Jen Carroll is using her time off to take over the kitchen at Washington D.C.’s Rogue 24 for a week while its chef, R.J. Cooper recovers from surgery, according to Zagat.
