When the new owners announced plans for a complete overhaul late last year, it was clear that The Mandarin Oriental (222 Sansome) had hopped on the let’s make our hotel hip bandwagon. The hotel’s restaurant Silks is set to close later this Spring, and now Eater reports that the 25-year old bar, MO Bar, will be closing as well. The watering hole will shut down on January 14th, but it won’t go out without one last hurrah.
