It looks like that giant hole at 40th and Walnut streets that’s been left vacant since last May when Marathon and MarBar pulled out won’t be empty much longer. The Daily Pennsylvanian reports that Dave Magrogan, the restaurateur and motivational guru behind Kildare’s and Doc Magrogan’s, has plans to transform the shuttered space into Harvest Seasonal Grill & Wine Bar, a casual farm-to-table-ish concept that he’s rolled out in nearby Glen Mills. Once renovations, which call for extensive changes to the interior and exterior, are complete, it’s expected to open as soon as June. [DP]
