Dear Mom, Launches ‘Bartenders’ Brunch’

Don’t you hate how brunch in S.F. always seems to end around 2? What is a person who sleeps way past noon on a Sunday supposed to do? New Mission bar Dear Mom, (2700 16th Street at Harrison) has the answer, and they’re doing what we believe is the city’s only late-afternoon “bartenders’ brunch,” Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This weekend, as Tablehopper reports, guest chefs Josh DeClercq and Ken Cazenas will be doing a warm mushroom salad with a poached egg ($12); smoked salmon, bagel, cream cheese, pickled red onion, caper, dill ($11); and roasted Brussels sprouts with lardo, a fried egg, and lemon-horseradish crème fraîche ($10). Sign us up. [Tablehopper]
