Former Sona and current Comme Ca chef and owner David Myers takes HuffPo on a short stroll through Paris, visiting the restaurants he enjoys while doing R&D; for his brasserie business. The chef cites in-demand wine bars like Le Verre Volé and Le Chateaubriand, as well as big names in bistronomics like Le Comptoir du Relais and Chez L’Ami Jean. For pastry, the chef notes the influence of the macarons at Ladurée and calls Pierre Hermé’s desserts “impeccable works of art.” And like many a great city, when it comes to street eats, Myers loves street meat, telling the blog kebabs are his favorite part-time indulgence in gay Paris.
