It seems that hot dogs aren’t the only lowbrow food with a place in Daniel Boulud’s heart (er, stomach?). The French chef must’ve seen our Frito pie slideshow, because he told Food Republic he’s a recent convert to the chili-and-chips mash-up, having consumed his first ever on Sunday at Giants Stadium. “I’m going to take some bags of Fritos to France with me,” he assured FR. “We don’t do these sort of things in France, which is too bad.” Touché.
