Prepare to be rostisseried!

Casey Lane, the toque with the golden touch over at Venice’s The Tasting Kitchen, confirms with The L.A. Times that he will be opening a second new eatery. In addition to plans for a Downtown restaurant named Parish that will serve British gastropub cuisine in the former home of Cafe Angelique starting this spring, Lane readies L.A. for Itri, a pasta shop opening on Melrose once Parish is established. Lane says the restaurant will indulge in one of his latest obsessions: rostisserie octopus, a preparation of the flexible critter that he admits, “I can’t get…off my mind.” [LAT]
