In the borderland between the Haight, Cole Valley, and Ashbury Heights, some new life has just appeared in the vacant Ashbury Market space (205 Frederick Street). As we heard a couple months back, Bacon Bacon and Three Babes Bakeshop are splitting up the space, and Bacon Bacon has just debuted breakfast service, including their “bouquet” of bacon with more bacon thrown in for six bucks; and a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheddar, bacon, and bacon jam, as Eater reports. Keep in mind this is less of a full-service eatery, for now, as it is an expansion of their mobile operation.

For now they’re only open weekdays 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., with lunch service starting January 23. And no, the Bacon Bacon truck has not been retired. You can find them today at 246 Ritch Street (Lunch Box) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

So much for those new year’s resolutions, are we right!?
