Yes they Can!
As Michael Solomonov gears up for Chanukah and his second annual Very Jewish Christmas next week at Zahav, the crew over at his and partners Steve Cook and Erin O’Shea’s Percy Street Barbecue have been keeping themselves busy constructing an eight-foot Christmas tree out of 400 beer cans. And it’s not just any old old-man beer cans that make up this titanic tannenbaum. No, it’s been painstaking put together by Percy Street employees Aric Ferrell and Desiree Howie using only cans from the barbecue joint’s colossal collection of canned craft beer.
