We alerted you in October to the urgent news that Mood Thai Sushi & More (418 Beach Street) appeared to be closing, but today we learn that it’s reopened under new ownership, without the sushi, but keeping the hybrid Thai aspect intact. The new name is Stroganoff, as the Scoop reports, and the deal is Russian food like cabbage soup and such, and of course beef stroganoff, plus the original Thai side of the menu from Mood Thai, so as not to disappoint any loyal, returning tourists. With the loss of Hooters (tomorrow’s the last day!), we can see why an owner might not want to be too drastic with the changes. [Scoop]
