Jason Cichonski, the 27-year-old whiz kid who left his position as the top toque at Lacroix earlier this year to join forces with Chip Roman to open Mica in Chestnut Hill, and later Ela in the former home of Ansill in Queen Village, gets some props today in the Business Journal. PBJ’s John Spencer includes the young chef in his “Young Entrepreneurs” feature, a roundup of business folk who are under the age of 30, and who will figure into shaping the city’s economic landscape in 2012. Cichonski is the only chef-restaurateur included in the roundup. The only other food related business people PBJ names are Matt and Ryan Mealey, co-owners of Kiwi Frozen Yogurt. [PBJ]
