What to Eat at Sons of Essex, Bringing Even More Specialty Grilled Cheese to the LES

Lower East Side hot spot Sons of Essex has been open for a couple of weeks now, but aside from cupcakes and whoopie pies, we haven’t yet mentioned what there is to eat. Grub got its hands on the menus, which rove from the fancy (truffle mushroom pizza) to the creative (Sheperd’s-pie empanada) to the straight-up indulgent (five kinds of grilled cheese or six kinds of macaroni and cheese).
