This Sunday, November 13th, from 3:00-7:00 P.M., eighteen of L.A.’s top female bartenders will duke it out at The Blossom Room as part of “Speed Rack,” a ten city-tour through the country that challenges regional mixologists to compete, judging the cocktail craftwomanship by speed. Part of the $20 admission to this four-hour battle goes to support cancer research, and offers access to the shakings of bar stars like Cana’s Danielle Crouch, Harvard and Stone’s Lindsay Nader, Black Market’s Mia Sarazen, and Spare Room’s Naomi Schimek. Imbibing guru Simon Ford, the spirits and cocktails brand expert for Pernod Ricard, will serve as the afternoon’s emcee, while judges include The L.A. Times’ Jessica Gelt, and cocktail capos Ted Haigh and Aidan Demarest. To find out who gets crowned Miss Speed Rack L.A. and will go on the to finals in NYC, grab your tickets online.
