Alison Price Becker ran her cozy west Soho restaurant, Alison’s on Dominick, for over ten years until shuttering in 2002 in the wake of 9/11. Now the restaurateur is back nearly a decade later with Alison Eighteen, opening in a month or two in the flatiron. The Post has a big story on the restaurant today, revealing that the 7,000-square-foot space will have 135 seats in an upstairs dining room and a downstairs area that doubles as a film screening room and private event space. Grub got our hands on some renderings of the main dining room and the lower level. Also planned: a daytime coffee-and-pastry counter that morphs into a charcuterie and cheese counter later in the day. A rep tells us the space is “still a construction zone,” so an exact opening day is elusive, but tide yourself over with another look at the space, below.
