Yeah, we know it’s Monday. But there’s good news to report. Lunch options in Center City just got a little bit better! Michael Solomonov, Steve Cook and chef-partner Erin O’Shea opened the doors to their Percy Street BBQ sandwich shop at the The Market & Shops at Comcast Center at 17th and JFK Blvd. As we mentioned the new spot will feature some of Percy Street’s best efforts, served up as sandwiches. The menu includes sliced brisket sandwich with sharp cheddar, horseradish mayonnaise and pickled green tomatoes; pulled pork sandwich with collard greens and provolone; smoked ham sandwich with Swiss cheese, mustard and pickle relish; chopped brisket sandwich with fried onions and pickle relish; boneless ribs with coleslaw and BBQ sauce; and smoked turkey sandwich with tomato-bacon mayonnaise, avocado and Monterrey Jack cheese. Prices range from $7 to $9, and for $10, there’s a combo special that includes a sandwich, a side dish and a beverage. Check out the slideshow and let us know with a comment which ones you find the most drool-worthy.
