We’ve been faked out before, so we still hesitate to announce this, but apparently Lers Ros will finally be opening that new branch at 307 Hayes Street (near Franklin) on Friday, or so says Eater. The ever popular (and pretty excellent) Thai place, which will keep its original location on Larkin, has had this second location in the works for oh so many months now, and the Chronicle even profiled the chef, Tom Silargorn, back in August in anticipation of the opening. In any event, Hayes Valley should be pretty happy about this news, and we look forward to bringing you further updates if, for any reason, the new menu is somehow different than the old menu, which we doubt.
