After opening in Cerritos last time we checked in, Chris Simms has location number nine planned for his Rocky Mountain-inspired Lazy Dog Cafe chain. The next Lazy Dog will lie down in West Covina on November 9th, while the restaurant will be open on November 6th and 7th for a pre-opening event where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to a well-regarded neighborhood charter school. 1440 Plaza Drive, West Covina. 626-480-8603.
